Motorcycle Rally & Ducati






Date: October 2007
City: Tehran (Azadi sport complex)
Story: This motorcycle rally attracted a total of 75 high performance motorcycles. The rally started from Azadi sport complex in the morning and ended near Qom city that afternoon. All kinds of high performance bikes ranging from 600 cc to 1300 cc.

City: Tehran (shahrake gharb, faze 1)
Story: Imported from Dubai and due to the laws in Iran which do not allow bikes over 250cc to be registered it does not have a number plate, but with the approval of the automobile and motorbike racing federation the owner rides his bike in various race tracks and participates in motorbike events.

What is the reason for the 250 cc limitation? Are 250 cc bikes two stroke or four stroke? Two stroke engine develop more power (equivelant to 400-500 cc four stroke engines), but produce more pollution. Fuel consumption shouldn't be an issue since it comes from there.
